Fay
Occupational Therapist
Hi I’m Fay, I have worked as an OT for 20+ yrs (which makes me feel old !) in the UK, Australia and New Zealand working alongside children, young people and adults.
As an Occupational Therapist I believe the person, environment and activities are all interwoven. In work (and life) I am passionate about drawing on people’s strengths and embracing individuality. My focus in sharing knowledge is to collaborate and empower individuals and their support networks to understand, embrace who they are and what is meaningful to them. Focusing on abilities within an environment and approach that support individuals to reach their goals and make a difference in their expression of who they are within the context of their lives and what is important to them.
It is awesome to be part of the ongoing change towards neurodivergent affirming practice in NZ
Myself and whānau (partner and 3 children) moved to Aotearoa in 2016 for a family adventure (we have made NZ home and are still adventuring !!) I love to ‘play’ and live for the outdoors; love being in the mountains, bush, rivers and ocean!.
